  1. i really like the layering you added to the shark piece. it looks much better. the contrast between the light and dark is very nice. the top piece is kind of confusing to me though. i would be interested to hear what it is supposed to represent because right now i am not quite sure. i like the bottom one though. the light on black is very striking.

  2. I agree with Monet, i like the addition of the new colors into the shark piece it adds depth to it and really submerges it under water. umm the bottom one feels a little flat, like nothing is really attracting me to the image and actually I like the top and does what the bottom one doesn't and gets my attention and interest.

  3. Travis the sharq piece is coming along really well. Don't try and rush to get it done, either. You obviously have some system to what you're doing and it's working for you. The depth of the water is beginning to show and I can't wait to see what you do with the actual shark.

  4. I really like the shark one so far, the depth is really intense and makes the image have a really good feel to it. I actually think the bottom one is pretty good- the nose and top especially. It also has good contrast. I think the top piece needs more work though, the simplistic look is really neat, but it needs more to define the face, or else you can't tell what it is

  5. travis i really like your shark one. the background is looking great and i love how its a shark slash scuba diver. i also like how the background has such awesome color and then the sharky is just simple and white. good contrast. you actually have great contrast in all of your peices. very nicely done (and when your in college and draw for someone it will be amazing and they will be like WOW YOUR A GREAT ARTIST).

  6. The first piece catches my eye. Your use of line and color prove very effective in it. The blank space I feel makes the composition interesting. The clarity of this piece is striking. All the pieces are very nice but the concentration as a whole doesn't seem all too unified. The second piece is my favorite but I feel the first one is the best. The second provides a sort of intimacy that I find very charming.
